PAR is issuing and supervising (mostly urban) design projects in settings in the South. Due to the complexity students are encouraged to work in teams of two to four and to attend the regular supervision workshops.

The skills to be adquired also comprise an understanding and knowledge of suitable dimensions and qualities of space between buildings.

 recent diplomas

Diploma projects run over a period of 10 weeks and mostly work on a task proposed by one of the faculty departments. PAR issues an urban design diploma task in the winter semester 2005/2006. Given that several teams or individual students work on the same task, a design competition situation is simulated best.Alternatively, students may choose an individual task under the condition that the topic is so specific that it cannot be proposed to all students and that the student can convincingly show a personal motivation to pick the project (i.e. intimate knowledge of the location or intended professional career)
