The main interest in this excursion is the comparison of building design and technology for state sponsored housing projects in relation to culture, demography and economic status of the envisaged target groups, but also in view of prevailing climates and building materials in different regions of the country. A joint workshop with Addis Ababa University (Building College) forms part of the workshop.

Students interested in participating are requested to fill in a form at the department's secretariat. Students taking part in another PAR activity will obtain preference in the selection.
