Forschung einschließlich Dissertationen haben einen Überblick über bereits publizierte Forschungsergebnisse zur Voraussetzung, wobei bestehende Literatur-Datenbanken eine nützliche Informationsquelle darstellen. Unsere Empfehlungen sind unter ‚data bases’ aufgelistet.

Aber Forschung kostet auch Geld, das in den meisten Fällen über Drittmittel und Stipendienprogramme besorgt werden muß. Verlinkungen zu Förderinstitutionen finden Sie unter ‚funding’

Nur selten findet heute die Forschung noch im stillen Kämmerlein statt.  Komplexe Aufgabenstellungen erfordern die Zusammenarbeit vieler Köpfe, die sich in Netzwerken austauschen. Auf solche Netzwerke wird unter ‚initiatives’ hingewiesen.
